It's been a long time since I updated, mostly because I can't afford to do most things exciting with this page so I just don't visit. I want to thank everyone who's continued to light candles for my angel.
Tomorrow the 14th is her 4th birthday and I miss her so very much. We went and fixed up her grave really nice and will be taking balloons and teddies out there today. We also have a cake for her

Calypso Paikea Rhyder Lane was born on June 14, 2007. She was 3lbs 1.9oz and 13" long. She was born at 29 weeks 5 days gestation.
Calypso did well at first but on June 20th was diagnosed with NEC. NEC is an infection known as Necrotizing Enterocolitis. It is a horrible infection that kills the lining of the intestines rendering them dead. Calypso's infection spread to her kidneys. On July 7, 2007 we were forced to take Calypso off of life support at 23 days old. She died at 3:50 pm.
Calypso was our last child.

Never touched the ground at all.

These tiny footprints were meant for Other things
You will hear my tiny footprints in the patter of the rain.
Gentle drops like angels tears of joy and not from pain.
You will see my tiny footprints in each butterflies lazy dance.

You will see my tiny footprints in the rustle of leaves
I will whisper names into the winds and call each one that grieves.
Most of all, these tiny footprints and are found on mummy and daddy`s hearts cause even though i`m gone now we`ll never truly part

We have shared our tears and our sorrow
we have given encouragement to each other
given hope for a brighter tomorrow
we share the title of GRIEVING MOTHER ~~
Some of us lost older daughters or sons
who we watched grow over the years
some have lost their babies before their lives begun
but no matter the age, we cry the same tears ~~
We understand each others pain
the bond we share is very strong
with each other there is no need to explain
the path we walk is hard and long ~~
Our children brought us together
they didn't want us on this journey alone
they knew we needed each other
to survive the pain of them being gone ~~
So take my hand my friend
we may stumble and fall along the way
but we'll get up and try again
because together we can make it day by day ~~
We can give each other hope
we'll create a place where we belong
together we will find ways to cope
because we are angel mums
